Thanks for proving to us that you don't know what the **** your talking about!
Secondly the whole FS experience has been nothing but positive and good training.
If it wasn't for the FS staff and their Professional attitude, it is what got FS as far as it did.
No, I'm not happy about the current situation. But belittling of the training and the FS staff is unacceptable.
Especially from people who haven't been there.

Never been to FS. Had an offer but said no after I asked some instructors I have trained with and they all said the same “ never been impressed with the skill set of anyone who trained at FS. “ Sounds like it was cheap for a reason. Pay for better instructors , the top people travel to different clubs who host them and there are lots of competent instructors in California. You don’t get a decoder ring but you get real training. Sounds like it was better than nothing but not much else. Better to take one real good class and practice on your own rather than take 10 crap classes and get some meaningless gold membership. If you have nothing to compare it to maybe. My dream shotgun class would be with Clint Smith. He teaches in LV too. Pricey but it’s a real class by a real expert.
From the horses mouth in the links , it was a scam for 3rd rate training from day one . Accept it and move on .Leave a comment:

While that BA story could be funny, I get the feeling DC just made it up to save face after that article was posted.
I mean, who walks around with a bottle of ED pills in their pocket and sets them on a counter in front of their own employee...
Bummed he spoke badly about Neal and CC, those guys work their asses off, Neal was always the one updating curriculums and CC is just a badass.Leave a comment:

Which FB group? The Friends? The Family? Or the Lawsuit?
I just finished Part 2. Really don't know what to say. Combination of disgust, anger, disappointment and just feel bad for all the good folks that worked their arses off and put on a professional face and amazing attitude while having to deal with all that crap behind the scenes from IP and BA. I didn't think it was possible, but I have even MORE appreciation and respect for the staff. I have always been blown away at how amazing everyone was, but man, after reading this it takes it to an entirely different level of appreciation.Same sentiments here... A mix of many emotions!?!
But mostly disgust a IP and BA!?! How can anyone be so deranged to do what they did, in absolute contrast to their "marketing" images!?! To defraud people of money, to mistreat people, etc. etc. How!?! I am always the type that most people are good natured, but what they did (along with playing on the "need for 2A/firearms training") is no different than the scums and perps we train to protect ourselves and loved ones from... These folks need to be the new targets for the Skills Test!!!
After I read it, I actually still was not able to process the multitude of emotions, etc. by the time I posted those links here in CG. Right now - it is more of helplessness, not being able to make this wrong a right...

Agreed. The staff has always been stellar, as have most if not all of the students I interacted with. There's gun people/gun culture, then there's everyone elseLeave a comment:

This is insane, and I feel horrible for the staff. Going through all of this and still remaining so professional. Man, I really feel bad now. I have ALWAYS commended the staff on how amazing they were, but really had no clue what was going on behind the scenes. Piazza and Ackman are really giant POS''s. As long as these two scumbags are involved I won't ever go back. It's really sad that they had such a good thing going and those two greedy dickwads funked it all up.Last edited by Vinnie Boombatz; 07-16-2022, 10:22 PM.Leave a comment:

I just finished reading it. That's a crazy amount of drama going on behind the scenes, no one should have to deal with that level of derangement in their leadership. It's not just incompetence, it's malevolence. And I'll reiterate that the informant takes some really good notes.
I, for one, appreciated the highly scripted curriculum. It's a cookie cutter approach suited to mass production, and seemingly tolerant of all customer skill levels. There's nothing fancy or special about it. I've been on the range with people who'd never shot a gun before, and by the end of the second day they were shooting safe and decent. It's like going to the gym as a newbie and hitting some basic lifts: you will see improvement just by virtue of the fact you got off your *** and got some reps in. Would a professional athlete find value in such a workout? No. But that's when you change it up by shooting different guns, shooting lefty/righty, or whatever you feel like to spice it up. I always had a good time when I went.
FS is such a beautiful facility and locale (yes, middle of the desert is beautiful), it would be a shame to see it go away away. I hope whatever FS evolves into is a functional business with at least the same quality of product, and the staff don't have to put up with that bs anymore. If it costs a few more dollars to go I'd hope their product is worth my extra money, but I'm listening....Leave a comment:

Wow good read. Don’t know many of the initials. Lots of BS behind the scenes. Too bad. They had a real good program.Leave a comment:
