I really appreciate the diagrams and the discourse on the effects of gravity, i didn't mean to stir any pots.

I guess i was just trying to figure out how these competitors are able to accommodate cant in real time / on the move ballistic calculations.

I'm not sure of the distances addressed in the stages shot through the various ports. ..I just happened to see such a barrier set up recently at a range and it looked interesting/challenging....i've also seen them and on some youtube competition videos. Likely as described above, competitors are shooting at close ranges.

HKAll gave you the right answer as far as what you should compensate for. At normal match distances the bullet probably drops less than a half-inch, so you can safely ignore that. When shooting through a VTAC barricade, you also have to consider the 45 degree ports.

If you want to get serious, the dimensions are available online so you can make one at home to practice with. At least you can get used to the weird positions, and the challenges of getting behind the optic so you can see through it.
