Thanks. I got the email and on practiscore it shows the stages. I didn't see a link for the match schedule or other info. See that they are having the standards stage with the first string at 50 yards. Looks like fun. Looking forward to it. Squad 6.

Still haven't run across the match scedule other then you can register and walk the stages after 2 on Friday. I would assume shooting starts no later then 8am Saturday. Get there earlier to sign in if you didn't Friday. I always get to matches plenty early just in case.

Western States Single Stack & Revolver Championship 2020
The Western States Single Stack & Revolver Championship 2020 match is just a couple of days away (February 22nd and 23rd) and we wanted to go over a few things with everyone to make things as easy as possible.

Everyone has already paid their registration but we still need you to check in on Friday afternoon (the 21st, after 2pm) or Saturday morning (before 8:30) at the desk. You will also receive your match t-shirt at check-in. Staff will be shooting on Friday afternoon but it will be possible to walk most if not all of the stages.

There are no open slots for the match so there will be no walk-on registrations allowed.

The line goes hot at 8:30AM. Please be on time and ready to go at 8:30AM.

For your own comfort we suggest you bring something to drink and a folding chair.

There will be a break late morning for lunch and there will be a vendor selling food and drinks.

When you enter the range there is a gated road straight ahead that will take you downrange to the pistol bays. Please follow that road to the parking area and check in under the large covered area by the parking.

Sportsmanship: Our guidelines are no different than the expectations at most other clubs, but just to be clear, we'll spell them out here. ALL shooters on a squad are expected to participate in resetting the stage after EACH AND EVERY shooter UNLESS one of the following conditions exist.
              A. You are the shooter, on-deck or in-the-hole.
              B. You are resting and reloading for a maximum of two shooters after you shoot.
              C. You are dealing with broken equipment.
              D. You are going to the bathroom.
              E. If you are elderly or injured, then less is expected of you. Maybe you don't reset steel or walk to the furthest reaches of the stage, but taping nearby targets should be on your radar after every shooter. In general, if you are healthy enough to shoot, then you should routinely do what you can to pitch in.

              Re-shoots
              A. There is only one instance where a shooter is offered the choice of a re-shoot. This is when the RO physically interferes with the shooter. The shooter must decide before knowing the time or score for the stage (8.6.4).
              B. The shooter is NOT entitled to a re-shoot for a handgun or ammo failure, i.e. a jam, breakage, stuck round, squib, etc. after the start signal (5.7.6). No re-shoot should be required or given in this case. The stage should be scored as is, with appropriate misses and procedurals.
              C. However, if the shooter is stopped by the RO for a suspected squib, and this proves not to be true, then a re-shoot is required (5.7.7.2). If the squib proves true, then (5.76) applies and no re-shoot.
              D. A re-shoot should also be required for a range equipment failure / un-reset target (4.6.2) and eye/ear protection failure (5.4.3).

Practiscore Matchbook data for the match is now available. If you have the Matchbook app on your mobile device you can search for the match data using the email address you used to register for the match. If you do not have the Matchbook app you should be able to go to the Practiscore web page for the match and view the stages from the Match Dashboard.

We are very excited to have so many fine competitors shooting this match and look forward to seeing you on the 22nd!
