    3 gun 100 or 200 zero

For 3 gun should I have my scope zero at 100 or 200 yards?

    Neither.

Probably 25 or 50yds zero is more appropriate.

... depending on the bullet a 200 yard zero is very close to a 50 yard zero.

      I'd choose a 200 yard zero over a 100 yard zero.

200 zero. Piru X3 goes out to just under 400 yards.

I zero at 50, but I'm thinking of trying a 75 yard zero just to see how my hits are at different distances. I shoot 55grain for everything.
I move slow but I make up for it by shooting poorly.

When I hit the lotto I'm only shooting factory.

200, it willl pretty much let you do center hold on anything out to the zero distance.
I use a 200y zero with my meopta and do center-hold out to ~225y. At 250 I put the dot on top of the plate/target and at 300 I use the top of the center post.
A 200y zero will be pretty much dead on at 50y, but it's better to zero at 200y and be dead on at 50 than zero at 50 and potentially be off at 200, since it might be hard to see if you're exactly where you want to be at 50.

Even though I havent tried it out yet, the middle of the post should be ~450 and the bottom of the post ~550.

With my Simmons Diamond Pro, I sighted in at 200yds. Learned the hold over for 300, 350. At 50yds, same as 200, a little high at 100.
Got the Burris XTR, with that scope, sight in is at 100, with BDC for 200, 300,400. Need to mount it and load some ammo that will be as close as possible to the 62gr, 3025 fps, that the BDC was set for. With the 200/50 yd
zero, ease to check at the range with the Simmons.

In the same way a 50 yd zero is close to a 200 zero, isn't a 36yard zero also close to a 300 yd zero using 62grainers?

                      I'm with gose...

I don't look at the 50/200 as being the same anymore.

Sight in for 200, like you would shoot a match, not from a nice bench with sandbags. Then learn your over/unders on 25/50/100

For me.. if I know my 25 yds poi, is 1.5" low, it's a quick way to verify if the scope gets bumped..

                        +1 on BerKim,

Shooting off a bench/sandbags is different than mono-poding off the mag.

Get your zero close off the bench then fine tune from prone off the mags. Don't trust a close zero to right at distance. 50 is the same as 200 doesn't always work out so go out and shoot the distances. It all about testing.

Bullets make a big difference too. Out of my rifle at 200 yards a 55 Win FMJ impacts 4" lower than a 55 Nosler Ballistic tip at the same velocity. That kind of difference will kill you if you just assume both at impacting in the same place at 200 if you zeroed at 50.
                        where are my pistol mags?

I use a 200 yd zero an then confirmed the impact points at all distances 25 to 400 to.
