Anyone know how to tell if a USPSA event will include a classifier prior to showing up for event? Recently went to Icarus Shootfest in Vegas and found out of 11 stages, no classifier. Recently shot at RRnG and nothing posted on USPSA.org showing scores or classifier.

Um.. Richmond hotshots always has a classifier for it's USPSA matches.. Generally stage 2 is a classifier and it get uploaded usually within 2 weeks of the match.. November 4th match was uploaded on Friday Nov 10th.. October 1st match was actually Sept 30 upload since Sat was Sept 30th.Last edited by sargenv; 11-13-2017, 9:50 AM. -
Look at their website or Practiscore One of those usually list if they have a classifier or use some alternating schedule. A couple of SOCAL clubs alternate every other weekend. Ny NORCAL club does a classifier every match, but they only have monthly matches.Fast is fine, but accuracy is final!
You must learn to be slow in a hurry.

The best way is to contact the organizer. Their contact info is generally available both on club's and USPSA websites.
Local matches (at least in in So. CA) are pretty standardized and it's easy to find out which of them have classifiers and when. It runs on a schedule and there are no surprises.sigpicNRA Benefactor MemberComment
