    USPSA Scoring & Practiscore

So, I am pretty new to USPSA...but I thought I had Hit Factor calculations down; until this past weekend.
The state was 99-11 "El Presidente"...and I shot it poorly, but not as poor as my scoring.
    I shot 47 points (L/10, Major 7xA; 1xB (lucky head shot); 1xC; 2xD)...this is 47 points.
My time was 9.53...which by my math, should be a Hit Factor of 4.93.
However, practiscore (and now the USPSA website) shows my HF as 3.8825?
Practiscore shows my correct time & correct points...but shows the 3.8825 HF???
Which if the time is kept constant, comes out to 37 points?
I had no penalties or other.

    1. Does anybody if my calcs are wrong? Did I miss something?
    2. Is there any correcting this error, or am I just stuck?

Talk to the score keeper at your match. Maybe someone added a miss by mistake? Fat fingers happen..

        Link to results?
Competition is where you find out you're slow, can't see well, are not accurate, have poor gun handling, can't visualize, have equipment that doesn't work and either accept it OR DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT.

As pointed out, El Presidente is 12 shots. You have 11 for the score of 47. You also have a penalty of -10 points for miss/Mike which brings it down to 37.

          It's all correct.

You had a miss. Otherwise you'd have 12 scoring shots, not 11.

              That's only 11 hits
47 points minus 10 for the miss and the hit factor is right
