USPSA peeps - PCC question: Can a pistol with something like a Shockwave Blade brace be used in a PCC match? Now that ATF says shouldering is okay.

USPSA rules specifically prohibit a braced pistol for PCC:

Dang.
Thanks for the info. One other question I didn't see addressed in the addendum. Can a machine gun be used if it's only fired semi-auto?Comment

I don't have a carbine, but I do have a friend with a 9mm machine gun. From 10 feet away it looks just like a carbine with a short barrel.
Not in CA, sorry I forgot to mention.Comment

Technically it is prohibited in the primary USPSA rules for all guns. That being said, in AZ the match directors don't care as long as you leave the gun in semi. One would likely receive a DQ if full auto fire occurs in a USPSA match.
Rio Salado Sportsmans Club in NE Phoenix runs USPSA style FA subgun and belt fed matches. They are very fun:

Not for us. We would be very uncompetitive in full auto matches.
Probably not very competitive in PCC either, but at least not as far behind as we would against the full auto guys.Comment

They do accomodate guys with semi guns to run in the FA matches concurrently. You just have to sign up for it. There are lots of guys/girls doing this. It's fun to see all the NFA hardware that shows up and watch them run the stages.
Cast off your PCC compliance parts for a day and come check it out if you're in PHX. They will resume running the matches in September when it cools off. Second Thursday of every month at 5pm. IIRC about $15 for non-members.Last edited by EBR Works; 05-27-2017, 7:09 PM.Comment

Phx is way too far for me. Basically impossible on a weekday.Comment

Yes you can run a select fire gun in PCC but you must run in semi-auto only.Competition is where you find out you're slow, can't see well, are not accurate, have poor gun handling, can't visualize, have equipment that doesn't work and either accept it OR DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT.
