    Not per the Googles

Gopher Flats Sportsmen's Club Parking Lot, Los Angeles, CA

Zoom to your heart's content. You can even get directions and an estimate on how long it might take to get there.

I was a Gopher. And yes it is a secret. It's the club's policy. Mods should hopefully delete this thread.

Why even bother with USPSA matches etc. if y'all do NOT want anyone outside of the club to come by and shoot in those matches. Requirement for those matches being sanctioned is for them to be open to the public.

Saying the matches are open to public, but not disclosing where they are is disingenuous at best. Yes, there is an email link that purports to give directions, but it is an email link that is never answered.

Now that Deadwood boys at Piru is having matches every 1-4th Sunday I'd suggest people go and support a club where people are welcomed instead of a cliquish good ol' boy's club.

            OMG.

It's like some of you are just clueless about politics in California.

Everything is legal. But there are organizations what want to take away our 2A rights and activities.

Follow the dots and if you half a brain you can figure out why the policy is in place.

            Mods please delete this thread.

Do you honestly think that those people don't know how to find your range?

I found it by looking on Google maps. Perhaps you should ask them to remove the tag on the parking lot as well. Then hope that those people don't ask about why those hillsides have weird rectangles.

Look, I get it. We're all in the same boat. Mods feel free to close this.

Best of luck to you, OP.

I haven't been a member of Gopher's/SWPL for years. I haven't shot there for years.

And a principal of the Piru match is moving to AZ. The range has new owners and is raising the rent. There's a good chance the match at Piru isn't going to survive.

                Enjoy it while you can.

You really think people in government won't know about your range if specific location is not advertised? People had to get permits, insurance etc., etc. for the range.

You are welcome to have whatever policy you wish to have in place. Just don't hold sanctioned USPSA matches if you won't disclose the location of the match to non-club members that wish to shoot it. Just have outlaw matches within your group.

Groups that want to be "secret squirrels" shouldn't be holding USPSA matches. That kinda defeats the purpose of being secret.

That's what you got from this thread?

If you need a well published location to shoot maybe you should go to Piru. They advertise their location.

Just go to Piru. They need the shooters for rent.
