Question about AR Match

Saw this and thought to myself this would be fun to do go and get a little practice under my belt. Not having done it before it brought to mind one question, how do you all manage reloads? People using bullet buttons? Doing featureless?

Thanks for the replies, just seeing how it is accomplished should I want to give it a try.

That's one of those events for the hyper active individual,and I thought op's post had a chance of something to do with highpower.

I did the ARM last year, and it was a lot of fun. I'd sign up for it this weekend if I weren't recovering from a busted rib. Basically competitive shooting "lite". The Forward Assist crew who organize it run a tight ship.

Last year there were more guys running with bullet buttons than there were featureless - my Thordsen setup got a lot of oohs and aahs. Some stages require a mandatory magazine change to keep a level playing field. I don't recall any stages needing more than a couple mags to complete, maybe 3 tops.

Ive competed in such events. I have mags with a pin to eject the expended magazine via the bullet button. Some guys have BB rings.

Join the event and make do with a BB ring for starters. You will see all sorts of ways to compete and still be within the law.

Enjoyed the event with a family member. Run really well. Fun and challenging scenarios to shoot. Range officers helped to keep everyone safe.
My Sport is bone-stock - very interesting to see how others had set up their ARs. Many featureless without bullet buttons.
