    Precision rifle classes

Looking for Long range classes by reputable instructors, willing to travel. Magpul just doesn't host enough classes. Missed accuracy1st this year. Any other recommendations?

Near Sacramento, the Nor Cal Practical Precision Rifle Club offers a clinic every year. This is a great day with a coach to each 1 or 2 shooters, shooting from 200 to 1000 yards. This club has matches every month and no membership is required. This year it is in October. Not sure if it is filled yet. Also, at the same range, the Palma Club does a Wind Reading clinic, usually in April. Rifles Only (out of Texas) is doing a clinic in September at the same range. The range is Sacramento Valley Shooting Center. Check the website for any club and go to a practice session. We all start knowing nothing, this is how we learn.

I've done the clinics before. I'm also on the wait list for the up coming one. Looking for something different...

Grow your sniper rifle skills w/ expert training at International Tactical. Our trainers teach accuracy, safety, and tactical application. Sign up!

Caylen Wojcik @ Magpul Core teaches a great precision rifle course, so I'd keep looking for one...they usually teach them at Pala. Worth sending him an email, he may put a new one on the schedule if he knows someone is waiting for it.

My buddy just trained with Core Shooting solutions, sounded like they do a very good job. He's been in Magpul's PR courses so I trust his evaluation.

I'm a big fan of Bill Rapier. 14 years in DEVGRU, operational experience for miles, and a perspective you won't get from an instructor with a different background. It won't be aimed at PRS-style shooting though, but you can get that plenty of other ways. The next PR course on his schedule is Oct 1-2, 2016 (Rifle Ranch near White Owl, SD).

I've done two five day PR classes at Rifles Only, one when Frank Galli was helping Jason teach. Both excellent.

The ITTS sniper courses were only out to about 600-700 yards but they were good courses. Mark Semos was the co-instructor then and he brought a lot of operational experience.

I took Precision Rifle from lmsdefense.com, and liked the course a lot.

I second this, great class and a down to earth instructor.
