What scope and power are you guys using? Haven't been able to tell by the videos. Thank you for your time.

1-3x or 1-4x or any low powered or unmagnified optics/scope.

EOTech 557 with 4X magnifier. It's heavy but it works well for me.
But, that new Trijicon Accupoint TR24 (1-4X) looks like it's going to be a killer option come next year.

the aimpoint/eotech + magnifier automaticly puts you in open class. Then your ranked with all the guys with full race guns.

The popular set up is a 1x4 variable like the trijicon accupoint tr21r

          Hey Yar,
This is the first time I've heard about this ruling as it seems like it was still considered a single optic:

roger that... eotech/aimpoint + magnifier= tactical class in USPSA 3-gun. however, not all 3 gun/multigun matches use the same rules so you must check with the organization that is hosting the match.

as for me i'm running a 3-9x leupold vxII with a JP SRTS as my short range sight.

used to run a simmons diamondpro illuminated 1.5-5x.

as for 3 gun optics they range anywhere from simmons diamond pro's and weaver vxIII 1-3x to accupoint, meopta's, burris xtr's, etc.

I use a Meopta K dot reticle 1 to 4 on one rifle and a Trijicon Accupoint 1.25 to 4.

The others on here have listed some good alternatives.
I move slow but I make up for it by shooting poorly.

When I hit the lotto I'm only shooting factory.

was not aware they changed the ruling of dot+magnifier in uspsa. Kurt did bring up a good point about the loose definition of what or which is the optic. I'm sure sombody could find something to game there.

Trijicon Accupoint 1.25-4 with a LaRue mount here. It works great for up close and out to 350+ yards.

You can see the chevron/triangle in a photography dark room, outside on the brightest day or anywhere in between.

Meopta K-dot 1-4x. Set at 2x 95% of the time.

If you do not remove the magnifier for the duration of the match or its on one of those hinge dealies its ok for Tactical.

It's probably fine if you don't shoot far...

I think what they did was specify that only ONE optic with a reticle was allowed.
They allow the magnifier because it does not have an aiming point and would not be usable as an aiming reference without it being behind some sort of optic sight with a reticle.
