    Pala idpa?

Will there still be sdts idpa every 2nd and 4th Saturday this year? Didn't see any mention on the Pala calendar.

    Short answer, yes.
Competition is where you find out you're slow, can't see well, are not accurate, have poor gun handling, can't visualize, have equipment that doesn't work and either accept it OR DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT.

      Thanks rowdy.

You going to be out there or will we not see you because of the show?

I will be shooting the uspsa match held aslo at Pala this Saturday. I will be at SHOT Show just three days, January 18-20. So not missing any matches. =)

SDTS just announced they are cancelling Sat Jan 9th IDPA match due to rain.

The LDF USPSA match will be decided the morning of...

I'm really not trying to drive out there just to find it closed. I got the sdts email, Iirc they said a foot of standing water in the bays.

The range on base will probably be closed and I don't want to go to iron sights.

Not exactly. There was rain forecast through Saturday and a friend in Temecula stated there was standing water everywhere. The likely hood at the time of Pala being clear was slim so the notice was sent in advance.

Pala may dry out before Saturday but I can guarantee there will be soft spots and you're likely to have that red dirt make you taller as the day goes on.

We well plan on starting again on the 4th Saturday this month.

Has anyone checked to see how bad it is for LdF? I'm still on the fence. ..

Per the LDF facebook page yes, someone physically visited the range and gave the go-ahead for the weekend's matches.
