Front Sight Range Masters

I have not been to front sight in several years. A few friends are going and I thought I would join them for a 4 day hand gun class.

If we have our choice, who are the better hand gun range masters??

I know every word is scripted... But not all instructors are equal.

For front sight members, who do you prefer???

Wyatt!!!! (sp) He knows his stuff and I watched him get screwed out of combat master. His shooting is outstanding. He will work with you, make you faster and more accurate. I watched him coach a woman who picked up a rifle for the first time a week prior and graduate the 4 day rifle in the March class.

I've been twice - had Patty the first time and Chachi the second time. Both were skilled instructors but I liked Patty more - less arrogance...

I did notice the script they use is pretty identical - at least for the first three days...

If Wong is instructing, he is very articulate on how to instruct you via all three methods sight, verbal and hands on.

They're all amazing instructors.
Matt Jeng is top notch, I've had him twice and would take a class from him any day.
Paul Beneaux (sp?) is also a great RM

And as they squad you and friends on the first day, you normally have some wiggle room to pick what class you end up in.

Unless it's packed, then there's not much wiggle room.

The next couple of Fridays look like this:
4/10: Over 790 students
4/24: Over 837 students

The current single day record was something like 780 students.

I believe it was 1125 or so. I was there that day and it was packed! It was a Monday and the day one and four courses overlapped. We sat in the back row of the tent for the first day morning orientation. Students were parked in double rows almost to the road that goes to the canyons. One of the staff members was going around filming.

I was glad I was taking PR1 and just stayed down on the range for lunch.

I was going off the email sent to the staff, but it's entirely possible.
Most likely it was an old email regenerated to get all the staff out there.

I just got back from a 2-Day Handgun on 3/27 and a 2-Day Tactical SG on 3/30

Handgun RM was Chrysochou Former Greek Navy OYK [UDT], another solid instructor with a good sense of humor and ridiculous skills. My 4-Day DHG instructor was fantastic as well but I don't recall the name. He was a Mall Cop.

Its really busy there now, over 800+ that weekend. at least they have a real toilet facility on Range 4 now.

The 'comfort station' has been there for about 3ish(?) years now.
