    Xtreme 10mm 220 gr plated

I was looking at Xtreme bullets website and saw these 220 gr RNFP bullets. Thought they would make good round for the 10mm for walks in the woods.
Anybody try them, have any load data?
    Thanks, pacmule

Got some, not much load data out there and what I was finding wasn't all that impressive. 200s I think are much more useful.

Xtreme recommends using the Speer manual for their bullets... that said, I don't see any loads for a 10mm using a 220gr bullet in my Speer #14 manual. 180gr is the highest listed bullet weight in that manual.

Hodgdon Reloading Data Center website has some loads using a max bullet weight of 200gr.

Think I will email them and see if they have data.

220 gr load, use Min powder load for 200 as your max, and reduce that by 10% to get your starting load.. at least that's what I've done in the past and had success with..

If you can’t find load data… you might want see if someone can run a Quickload simulation for you…

It would be a lot better than trying to extrapolate data using the SWAG method since it would give you better insight into the load.

Sent email to Xtreme, hopefully they can help. If not then may get some and do as Sargenv said, wouldn't be the first time I have done that.

200's and longshot are a good combo. I see no need for 220's.
