    RCBS Lube Die

Has anyone ever got theirs to work reliably? Some time ago when I had a DL650 with case feeder and the Dillon 223 trim die and motor I tried setting this up to be as automatic as possible. (Lee Decapper, Lube Die, trimmer die, Lyman M expander die) I never could get that thing to lube correctly and got stuck cases like crazy.

I've since moved to a Lock n Load AP and intend on getting the case feeder and want to attempt to set up the lubing and sizing again. Has anyone got this to work reliably?

Currently just rubbing imperial on the cases as I load them individually.

The lube die is a good idea. I would fill it from the whole in the top, put some in the bottom, then remove the rubber cover to try to speed it up. (Don't know if this did anything)
Eventually, I gave up and sold it.
Now I put the brass in a 50ct reloading tray and spray with Royal Case lube. It works wonders, is fast and you can get inside the case neck. I like it better than the Hornady for bottleneck cases.

    Good luck.

I got mine to work by thinning out the lube a bit with 99% isopropyl. But a better solution is to just spray done Dillion case lube onto the bunch of brass, toss tge pieces like a salad, and be done with it. I never used the dies after going to spray lube. The die also leaks all over your press if you let it sit. It's a great concept but in reality it's not really a clean solution and produces variable results.

ar15barrels did but he also modified the die pretty significantly. He talks about it in his "processing brass in bulk" thread that's stickied up top.
