Anyone know where we can get ammo for cheaper than that? including tax and shipping?
32.05 cents in my neck of the woods but I gotta drive about 30 miles round trip to the closest Wally World that stocks ammo.

The stuff you make in your garage will cost you about half of what you pay at sprawl-mart.

What sux is that before the prices of components went up recently, it was only costing me 1/3 of the Sprawly price. I was making 200 grain SWCs for about 11.5 cents each. Now it's up to about 15 or 16 cents. I hope the trend does not continue.

As many of you already know, I bought my reloading rig already but I only have about 1k pieces of .45 brass. With the price of .45 ammo at Wall Mart, it is still pretty cheap to buy that ammo from Wall Mart and to keep on building on my .45 brass so that I can reload it later.

Which brings a question, is that brass good for reloading?

And to the OP, how come you don't send an invite to your fellow cal gunners here in San Diego to go shooting?
