    Whoops !!
    I forgot to tighten the screw on the square deal that holds the powder measure onto the machine
    powder everywhere
    and its in the garage so the powder is mixed in with dirt and other crap
    ow well....

    Say it ain't so! I did the same thing last week on my XL650. In 10 yrs of reloading, never did that before. I had just cleaned off the bench the week prior. So I was able to recover what fell on the bench, but what hit the floor became lawn food for the front grass. (Damn, my yard looks great!)
    Actually I only started collecting Milsurps 3 years ago. I think I might own about 24...They're cheaper than guns that will most likely never get the opportunity to kill somebody...

        Could be worse. On my 550 a short case doesn't lift far enough to dump the measure on the floor, but it doesn't drop any powder either.
