    Prvi Partizan M855 Green Tips

What's the difference between Prvi Partizan M855 green tips that come in white boxes and the Lake City M855 green tips that come in ammo cans on stripper clips?

LC cases are more desirable to reload. You'll just have to see wich one your rifle likes.

Thanks! Aside from the reloading aspect, do you know if there are there any differences in performance, ballistics, materials, etc?

Although they are very similar, my rifle tends to shoot smaller groups with LC.

          Prvi Partizan makes good ammo.

As far as difference goes, one was made in American and the other was made in Europe. I don't know if there are any differences in velocity, powder/primer used, or even if the bullets are the same. I'd imagine they might even use the same components. It could be Privi's version of the 5.56 NATO round which should work just fine and be very comparable, especially if componenents are shipped to them in order to replicate the recipe.

Privi brass has a good reputation for reloading. Case capacity should be about the same too. I did a water test couple weeks ago and LC brass actually held 0.3 grains more water.

Both are good. LC brass is considered more desirable.

                  PRVI is NATO Spec.

Notice the + in the Circle

PRVI had the US Contract for Bulk NATO Spec Small Arms Ammunition for Afghanistan and IMI had the contract for NATO Spec in Iraq.

At least the above was true in the earlier years of the Wars.

IMI is equal to LC in .556 and 7.62x51

IMI is equal to or better than Lapua in 7.62x39.
Yes, IMI had the contract to supply Iraq for their AK's

I've not used the PRVI Brass but would not hesitate to do so if the chance presents itself.......

Go based on cost, either Lake City or Prvi will serve most people's needs as either ammunition is reliable and clean, and the brass is good for reloading.
