    Thos are nice if you don't have access to the underneath to install the t-nuts.

    They cost more.

      for 7.50 you get 50 1/4-20 inserts, that's 15 cents a piece. I drilled my hole a little snug for them and it was a miserable time getting them in there with a little allen wrench but I know they are never coming out.

        Yes. I prefer the threaded inserts like shown above. Always work great. I've had a few problems with t-nuts over the years working themselves out, etc.
