any suggestions for a case lube substitute. I don't have that much to reload right now so I just need something to do 100- 45acp shells

Guess that means you are not using a carbide sizing die.
Most anything will work, as long as you can get it all off before you prime and charge.
Vaseline, crisco, vegetable oil, motor oil, ATF, gun oil to name a few.NRA Life Member

I lube straight walls sometimes if they are 45/70 class.
I'd never lube a 45acp or smaller straight wall. No benefit. Load away!Comment
