    Wolf ammo & Glock

Any opinions about using Wolf polymer coated ammo in Glock?

Until I started reloading, all I should through my Glock 21 was Wolf. Thousands and thousands of rounds.

i have heard that the steel gases will damage your extractor but can not attest to this.

i dont think the wolf is any more rough on extractors than brass

its hard to believe how little of the extractor actually does the work

cause when the barrel drops when it unlocks just the little end of the pointy hook is all that contacts the casehead

also not being a gas operated gun the crud would really have to cake up to cause a problem

Wolf AND Glock together in the same topic? STAND BACK IT'S GONNA BLOW!

Should be fine. It's a mild steel at worst, and as for the polymer coating as long as you don't make a habit of turture-testing you Glock and making the barrel hot enough to cause a good bit of melting-transfer of the polymer to the chamber, and are diligent about post-shooting cleaning of that chamber, you really shouldn't have any trouble.

I shoot between 1,000 and 1,500 rounds of steel cased Wolf .45 through my Glock 21 between cleanings.

I don't mean to hijack and don't think it is worth starting another thread so similar so I will ask. Can anyone tell me how accurate Wolf is in a Glock? I don't reload 9mm so Wolf looks very attractive but I mostly shoot my Glock 34 from 15 yards. I am not a great shot but can get a ragged 3" hole from that range with Winchester white box. What kind of groups can I expect to see from Wolf at that range?

i don't notice any accuracy issues till at least 50 yards

many ammo shoots differently than others but its vary constistant in where to adjust point of aim(i'm like "oh thats where this stuff likes to hit" and then compensate)
