    Positive experience with RCBS today

I got a used RCBS .308 die from a friend and the decapping pin was bent so when I try to straighten it, "boink" it broke. Long story short, called RCBS to find out which type of decapping pin was appropriate to replace it and they said they would send me a new pin, free of charge! Keep in mind that I did tell them that I got this particular die used. At any rate, a very good, positive experience today.

same experiences here i broke a part on my doing by trying to modify it.I called to ask about buying a new one and what i did wrong guy took my address and sent me a new one.

Also e mailed about a small powder thrower cylinder for my powder charge thingy cause the one that comes in the kit is a large capacity one and my neighbor told me about the small one for hand gun or small rifle loads.Again no prob they sent me the one i needed.

I have always gotten that type of service with RCBS and Hornady.

Both are excellent companies with excellent products.

They are top notch to deal with. Between Christmas and New Year's last year I broke a decapping pin and stripped the threads on the rod. I sent an email to them knowing they were closed for the holidays and to my surprise I received an email back asking for my address and they shipped out a set of pins and a new rod. Excellent customer service!

I have also experienced excellent customer service from Dillion with my 550b press. All this has me thinking that I may have to revamp the customer service protocols in my workplace.

Redding, RCBS, dillon, hornady, and lee have always gave me great customer service. Redding is by far the best. You can damage the crap out of their products and they will basically send you a new one at no cost. Although, ive never taken advantage of any company like that it is nice to know you are taken care of by their services.

Broke some decapping pins and tore through the threads of a die and the whole decapping/sizing die was replaced with a new one.

RCBS has always taken care of me over the decades. Some have even gone out of there way to buy something and shipped it to me. (In which I later found out.

Plus you're helping a California company.

RCBS has been nothing short of fantastic to deal with. I had a small issue with a die that they squared away immediately and gave me additional parts at no cost as well.

On an additional positive note, I spoke with a gentleman there who has been one of their lead techs since the 70's. And believe it or not, he remembered a conversation that he had with my father over 30 years ago. Needless to say, I'm sold.
