Deburr and Chamfer an Untrimmed Case?

Noob question here. I realize a lot of folks recommend not trimming many (most?) calibers of handgun ammo. Let's assume I don't trim a handgun case (say because the case is already at trim-to-length, to avoid the argument over whether or not to trim handgun cases). Does that mean I can safely forego the process of either deburring or chamfering the case mouth? I realize that by not trimming the case I haven't imparted any burrs to the case mouth that might happen in trimming, but is there anything about the firing process itself that calls for the case mouth of handgun casings to be either deburred or chamfered, even if I didn't trim the case? Thanks for any comments.

What CSACANNONEER said. No need to do any deburring if you didn't trim it.

remember that pistol case mouths are flared to receive the bullet. So even a chamfer isn't necessary. I have done it to a batch of 45 acp though, when I was getting some lead shaving when seating. That tiny bit extra helped
