I use Hodgdon Universal powder in my pistol loads and it does not jump out of the cases when used on my 650. I keep the shell plate just loose enough to move, almost too tight. .380, 9mm, .357 sig, .45acp, .44sp/mag. Also .223. Try the 650 on your rifle rounds, you might like it!

since it hasn't been mentioned yet - if I were to replace the old Pacific (post Hornady) single stage that I have I would probably go with the Redding Big Boss 2 press simply because of the spent primer tube or the Forster co-ax but I am not THAT into precision nor into anything that would really utilize the mechanical advantage of it.

I load .223 on my xl650 but all other rifle rounds on my rockchucker. I hunted around ebay until I found an old one for about $50 shipped. I pulled it apart and have it a good cleaning and coat of paint and it's good as new, or better. Add a set of shellholders and your good to go.

My Lee Classic Turret works for me (for 308) as I can take the case off anytime to inspect / weigh / measure...imo it's the best price for accuracy and speed

It sounds like the majority is currently running the Rock Chucker. What about case trimmers and such? Any thing else I will need to reload these things?

I'm planning on sticking with Barnes TTSX bullets, will research on powder, and Federal primers.
