Match 223

I want to get a Bushmaster National Match upper. It comes with a stainless steel bbl with a 1/9 twist rate. Which match grade 223 will give me good performance at 100-200yards? I will also be plinking with federal xm193.

The Bushmaster DCM upper comes with a 1-8 twist. Their other 'competition' models apparently come with a 1-9.

Anyway, for 1-9, you'll most likely want to use the 68gr Hornady BTHP or the 69gr Sierra/Nosler BTHP.

See the past posts in where others have asked about a 1-9 twist bullet and these are always mentioned.

For short range (200 or under), you can also get away with the 52/53gr BTHP offerings by Hornady, Nosler, and Sierra, or even a Flat Base varminter bullet in the 50-60 weight range.
