Interesting difference between my loads and wolf ammo

I took my .300 win mag out the other day to put some holes in paper, and see how my first attempt at handloading worked out.

It worked very well. I'm happy with my loads...they performed well, and the spread was absolutely caused by shooter errors.

Here's something odd, though.

I bought two boxes of Wolf Gold in the same caliber. The bullets looked like Winchester Power Point (which I also used in some of my loads). After chambering the round, it was extremely difficult to eject the cartridge. I actually didn't manage to do it, as I didn't want to break anything.

After I fired the cartridge, however, the brass ejected just fine.

Is this normal for Wolf ammo?

Do you have any way to case gauge the Wolf ammo? Could be that either your chamber is tight, or the Wolf cases are a little out of spec. Just a wild guess. I don't use Wolf Gold.
