Poor Accuracy with Bullseye in 9mm

I have been working on loads for my Glock Gen 4 G17, G19, and G26, using xTreme 115gr bullets. Using Bullseye accuracy absolutely sucks with many fliers, while Unique and BE-86 shoots consistently to point of aim. Is anybody else having issues with xTreme bullets and Bullseye?

    Cheers,

Can't help with your Bullseye problem, but I'm very interested in what you've worked up with BE86 and 115 gr extreme bullets for 9MM.

Back in the day Bullseye was THE powder to load light 38 spl target loads.

I use Bullseye in my Extreme pill loads (5.0g w/ 124g plated round nose). It is one of my favorite and most consistent loads. I found that when I did use the 115g pills, I did have consistency issues.

It's your bullets not your powder!

This may be true but I am trying to understand the phenomena of why they perform so much better with the mid burners like Unique and BE-86, have yet to try Power Pistol, and yet totally suck with Bullseye.

Bullseye, when used in small charges produces a nice powder puff charge that although mild produces inconsistencies and a lot of smoke. Try increasing your charge a bit and you should notice a significant increase in consistency in groupings and velocities with a dramatic decrease in smoke.

              I haven't had issues with it using X-Treme 115 and 124 RN

Maybe it has to do with the Glock rifling? I have tried 4 to 4.6gr of Bullseye from 1.10 to 1.13" OAL all with bad results.

It's voodoo, one of the joys of reloading.
