    Jamison Brass

I purchased two bags of 25-20 Single Shot brass, one was in spec, the other had thin neck brass and would not hold a bullet.

Called Kathy @ Jamison, they told me I was on my own and they would not even look at the brass since there was no way the brass could be out of spec.

I paid $153.00 per 100 pieces and all 100 pieces in the second lot were thin and unusable.

BTW : First lot works fine and is holding up, obviously their QC folks slipped up.

This will be the first time I have personally had an issue with a Firearms related company. Customer service in this industry has been really good overall.

Mail a case back to jamison with a letter as to problem -
Address it to the president or general manager - which ever is appropriate.

Posting pics won't show the issue, it is a minute difference invisible to the naked eye.

The person I spoke to (Kathy) is in charge of returns and CS.

They had me on Speaker phone and I could hear someone coaching her in the background.

Their thin necks issue goes back quite a few years according to Google.

Kathy was filling you with smoke.

I'd probably mail a piece back anyhow, since it's of no use to you as it is. Maybe they will realize they screwed up and make it right?

I collect Military Arms and enjoy shooting in local matches. I also collect older Lever Actions, especially those chambered in odd/old cartridges. If you have a nice old Winchester or Marlin in 25-20, 32-40, 38-55, 40-60, 45-70, etc etc, please PM me and we can work out a deal.

You could also buy a bushing style neck die and use the brass since you own it.

If you paid by credit card, send it back and dispute the charge. You CC company will support you if you returned the defective merchandise.

Right... custom dies for a 25-20 Single shot? It would be cheaper to buy 250 pieces of brass for $1 each.
