    Norma Brass, good stuff?

    Folks,

I have some Norma brass in 6.5x55 Swede coming from Sweden. I got 150 for $55 shipped once fired. Is Norma good stuff? A2

    Yes.
weg: That device is obsolete now. They replaced it with wizards.
frank: Wait a minute. There are more than one wizard? Is [are?] the wizard calibrated?

I think that is is HORRIBLE brass...so I'll help you out by taking that brass off your hands for $55.

Norma is some of the best out there, very consistent and it is annealed correctly from the factory to give you many quality reloads. I'm sure you will be happy with it, especially for the price you were able to obtain them at.

But getting back to my first statement...I'll help you out by taking them off of your hands

Lapua and Norma make the most consistent brass of anybody. It's what the accuracy freaks use.

Norma tends to run somewhat softer than Lapua, but otherwise it is excellent brass. If I run new, sized Norma brass through a concentricity gauge, the needle more often than not barely moves.

Norma makes brass for Weatherby and many of the calibers of Nosler brass.

Interestingly (maybe to avoid competition), in general if Lapua makes brass in a certain caliber, Norma doesn't offer it, and vice versa. Just go with the brand that offers brass in the caliber that you need.

Probably 2nd only to Lapua as far as commercial brass goes.
