Anyone seen or used one of these? (THEC4M3RON Portable Reloading Bench)

I know there are other similar products out there, but until a few days ago I'd never seen this before. The price seems a little tall, but it looks like a quality piece of equipmemt.

Anyone use a portable reloading stand? Have you actually taken advantage of its portability, or is it one of those "great in theory" kinda deals?

It is really easy to cobble together a portable stand, or an entire bench. I would prefer that route because I can make it fit my particular reloading habits.

That commercial model has an equal amount of space on both sides of the press, which may not be optimal for every user. You may want it bigger or smaller to fit in your car, higher or lower to fit your build, or you might want to build a shelf or storage space under the top panel for tools or supplies.

There is no cup holder or iPod dock on the commercial offering, and that might be a deal-breaker for some.

That looks like a good product for the guy who isn't tooled up to build his own, though. I'm sure it would be a great deal for a lot of reloaders.

It looks nice and I'm sure it's well built, but the price is going to keep it out of reach for most people.

Who lugs their reloading equipment around? My presses are setup so perfect I would cry if I had to move them.

The only advantage of a portable press I see is if you are a heavy shotgun shooter.

The fate of the wounded rest in the hands of the ones who apply the first dressing.

I bring my gear with me all the time.

            This bench would be nice.

Looks nice for those who don't have the space for a work bench. The cost is a negative.

Doesn't look tall enough...my Redding UM is as tall underneath as it is on top. Might work for my summit press, but then they are competing against inlinefabrication which is less than half the price and has all the same features. I bought it because it is stronger than the edge of my table; inlinefab even makes a reinforced table plate now.

                Portability = no bench
For portability, the lee handpress or (Lee or wilson) hammer dies have it covered.

For the sheer wow factor I would entertain one. I dont see the ultimate need for portability as you would still need a sturdy bench or table to use this on and likely bolt it to. If you like to custom tune your ammo while at the range this would be a great setup.
I built mine for free with scrap lumber and some brackets laying around. Never used it though due to no table/bench mentioned above

I have a Rockchucker & a Dillon 650, so I was thinking more along the lines of having a portable press that I can pump out 500rds/hr with. Clamp it to my bench at home & be able to take it wherever I need to. As far as the cost, I spent more than this on the workbench my presses are bolted to, so that's not a factor for me. I'd rather have something built strong with a good footprint, than whatever rickety contraption I could build with scraps at home. I probably don't have enough need to justify buying it, but I like the idea.

Great idea but you can probably fabricate one for way less.

I'm sure somebody could. All I would need is some steel that's been cut to size, a drill press, a welder & someone to teach me how to weld.

The price is not steep at all if it is made out of aluminum. Actually a bargain. IMO.

Most of us will conclude that the job can be performed equally effectively using 2x4's and plywood instead of aluminum.

It's 19 lbs. Is that enough? My whole (tallish) wooden bench rocks when I push forward to prime on my 550b, even if I put a 50lb bag of sand on the lower shelf!

of course not. It's portable. It's designed to be clamped to your truck, a picnic table, etc.
