      I like ammoman.

Best service IMO - Order it, get confirmation then tracking the next day. Never had a problem with him.

outdoormarksman.com sells Milwall reloads. That is what I used to use before I started reloading myself.

Cabellas has very competitive prices and I believe until the end of the month they have FLAT RATE shipping ($4.95) no matter how much you buy. So no sales tax AND virtually no shipping. Even WalMart can't beat that.

Aimsurplus and j&g sales have proven to be the cheapest for 9mm and 7.62x54r surplus for my ammo needs, but I think j&g is fudded up and not shipping to CA anymore.

Cabelas has the best variety I've seen, but they're not very cheap. I'd like to try ammoman sometime as they have good deals..when he has stock.

Just received my order from J & G.

I live in Ventura County, CA.

No problem with shipping to Kalifornia.

Can someone please explain to me why several sellers on Gunbroker.com won't ship ammo to "prohibited" areas such as Venura County, CA.

There are no legal restrictions that I know of.

I thought I'd take a shot resurrecting an older thread since it's more relevant now than ever.

Most of the sites listed on this page are pretty much "out of stock" on the most popular calibers. Are there any others that you guys have had success with?

Try Cabelas. Not the best prices but at least they let you backorder...sometimes. Other than that, it's a crap shoot.
