"Green Spot" 7.62 NATO.

Just finished a great book about British snipers in eastern Iraq. And they used L96 rfiles with "Green Spot" 7.62 NATO. Does anyone have any experience with this ammunition?. A2

Probably Radway Green manufactured ammo

Most of the British military's small arms ammo is manufactured by Royal Ordnance Factory Radway Green. RG is Great Britian's version if our Lake City.

So going over to 7.62 ammo from RG, supposedly their ball ammo is 144gr, and the packaging is marked with a black dot. Their 7.62 Sniper ammo is 146gr and the packaging is marked with a green dot. Then to stir the pot, their sniper match (heavier bullet) is also marked with a black dot (wtf?).

Will need to get a hold of SWCS to confirm
