A BIG +1 to RCBS Customer Service!

Last week I purchased a used RCBS Chargemaster 1500 from a calguns member, and after I got the unit I noticed that the platen that sits on the scale was missing. So I contacted the seller and he said he will send the missing platen. After 4 days of him not responding to my PM's I left him a negative feedback and contacted RCBS with this e-mail

hello, I purchased a used RCBS Chargemaster 1500 combo, and its missing the platen that goes on the scale, and I was wondering how much it would cost to order a replacement.

    Thanks
    Joe
I included my name, phone number and adress in that e-mail.

Within 15 minutes I got a response that I would have only expected from the folks over at Dillon Precision.

We are sending a replacement under warranty - no charge. Have a great day!

Now if thats not great customer service, then I dont know what is!

So in the end, I got my missing part, RCBS got a customer for life, and T-Bear got a well deserving negative feedback.

I have had the same experience with them. Great place to spend your money.

I agree. I bent a bunch of decapping pins for my dies. The replaced them, wouldn't even let me pay.

Same story. Got a whole bunch of used stuff for free. I was missing a pan and balancing weights for the scale. Called em up, told story, offered to pay, wouldn't let me, sent new stuff, customer for life!

RCBS customer service is great! I had some PMC .357 Magnum brass that for some reason were super tight to size in my old carbide RCBS dies. So tight that on the down stroke of sizing one of the shells the carbide insert pulled right out of the die. Oops. I called RCBS up and they send it back. About a week later I get a new carbide sizer in the mail, and no charge too. Nice!

If you ever run into hard sizing pistol brass, just use a little dab of imperial sizing die wax about every 5th round or so and it will go MUCH easier.
