    FREE Visual Cartridge Comparisons

There is nothing like the AmmoGuide Visual Comparison Tool anywhere else on the web - normally it is only accessible by paid subscribers to my site. I am now able to open up the Visual Comparison Tool to free members for short periods. If you have a free account at AmmoGuide, you can use 'er right now - FREE - and over the next few days. Just login here:

Other parts of the website, like the Ballistic Comparison Tool, ReBoring/ReChambering Guide etc, are always available to free members. A few parts are restricted. Now I'm trying to open up the restricted tools a little bit, maybe once/month if it works out.

This is a screenshot of the Visual Comparison Tool...

    Features:
    • Display any 8 rounds side-by-side (there are currently 704 available for viewing)
    • User-configurable background ruler (SAE, Metric or no ruler at all)
    • Illustrates cartridge heads
    • Cartridge labels link to detailed cartridge information
    • Label and save your visual sets in your own 'Private' list for later recall
    • Share your visual sets with others by saving them into the 'Public' list of visual sets
    • Integrates seamlessly with the AmmoGuide Ballistic Comparison Tool
    • "Anchor First Round" mode prevents the leftmost round from "rotating out"
    • "Print Friendly" mode removes extraneous webpage elements for a clean, crisp printout
If you don't have any account at AmmoGuide, creating one is free, like calguns. Use the above link - on the login screen you will see a button on the right to create a free account. You can upgrade a free account to paid subscriber status anytime.

    Enjoy.

I am a member of his site. It's a good site and has loads for just about anything. His site seems to favor VITA VOURI powder, at least for pistol! But, there are thousands and thousands of loads for just about anything. I strongly recommend!

Thanks for the kudos, Waldog. (and your support)

It may seem like we have a penchant for Vihtavuori powders, but it's only that when we did our initial seed of available uncopyrighted load data years ago, we found a little more loads using Viht powders than the others. But AmmoGuide is 100% vendor independant.

I'm a member as well. Great site and nice to get other imput outside of the books. I like the powder search function and the bullet weight search.

Heh, when we started listing hundreds of loads for a round (AG now has nearly 700 loads for the .223 alone) we started getting complaints about having to sift through long lists of load data (some folks are never satisfied :-) so we added the "Load List Filters". No complaints anymore.

          Thanks for the nice comments.
