.307 projectiles

A friend gave me a bag of projectiles that weigh 158 grain and mic out at .307. They are boat tail FMJs. They press into a .308 case with no issues and don't feel any different then the hornady 168s.

Can I use these? Or are they actually a .307 win? Even if .001 difference, can they still be used in .308 win semi auto?

i have a box of old sierra .307 170 gr flat points. my marlin 30-30 loves them

I pulled a projectile from a WWII era 30-06(twin cities arsenal I believe) and it was .307
Just use it like a .308. You'll be fine.

Unless you are trying to pursue 0.25 MOA or less groups ... you will be fine with .307

Them pills are for those bad batches of underbored barrels.

.307 is fine for .308 cartridges. Heck, I've used 110 grainers for 30 carbine in my Tokarev.
