Power Pistol 9mm 125gr Lead Load Data

So I looked my Lyman and Lee manual for a 9mm 125gr load recipe but couldn't find anything so I decided to take a 120gr lead data and estimate it. I figured 5.3 wouldn't be bad. Loaded up 50 rounds and took to the range.

    Here's what my data

    Black Bullet International 125gr lead
    1.15 OAL
    5.6gr

This stuff was snappy. My hands stung and they feel like how they fell after I swings at the 90 mph fastballs at the batting cages for an hour.

I'm not entirely sure if this is correct. I see other people saying they load their loads 5.6 or even higher but this stuff is way too snappy feeling in my M&P Pro.

Anybody got recipes for this powder I should try? Something lighter for target shooting.

I load 5.8 gr PP with 124 plated xtremes. It's kinda snappy in my sig 228 and fairly nice in my RIA 1911. But the rock is much bigger and heavier so milder to shoot.

Maybe reduce the load to 5.2 and see if that shoots.

They're not liberals, they're leftists. Please don't use the former for the latter. Liberals are Locke, Jefferson, Burke, Hayek. Leftists are progressives, Prussian state-socialists, fascists. Liberals stand against the state and unequivocally support liberty. Leftists support state tyranny.

I load the same with 5.7 grains. It's a little snappy but not that bad. My 92fs its extremely accurate with the above load

5.6gr is probably on the warmer side. Based on my load work up with PP and X-treme 124gr RN plated bullets with an M&P Pro, I'm guessing you're around 1175 FPS at 5.6gr.

Here is one of my mouse fart IDPA loads:

        M&P Pro
        X-treme 124gr RN plated
        4.9gr PP
        WSP
        1.15 OAL
        1040 FPS / 129 PF

        Hope this helps.
