I've seen no accuracy benefit going to a Redding die in an AR. It's still a .5moa gun. I do like that I can dial the micrometer for the three different bullets I shoot, and as a connivence it helps but I can't prove that it benefits accuracy.

I have 3000 LC cases mostly between '97 and '12, with the vast majority being '09 and '10. All nato stamped. As a test I weighted 50 random cases and 50 '10 cases. The spread within the '10 lot was as wide as the random lot. To extend this test I loaded up 20 rounds of 600 yard ammo. I threw it all on a Dillon 550.
I used Berger 80gr VLDs, Nosler 80gr, Berger 82gr HPBT, and a Nosler 77.
I used Winchester, LC, and PMC brass.
I used CCI, Tula, and Remington 7.5 primers.

I gave them all to an unsuspecting friend to shoot a 600 yard practice stage. He shot in the high 190s with a tight 8 (at 6) out the bottom on the Nosler 77.

If you are bolt gunning a lot more care matters, if you are using an AR then meh. YMMV

Milo I will continue to use my match river rock bullet seater.Once again it seemed to work just fine ,xperimenting with 4895 netted a 100 4x rp.
