    unresposive seller

What do you guys do with a member who posts an item for sale but never returns your contact attempts? There is an ad in this forum. I was the first in line. I have PM'd twice and emailed his private email account. He has visited the forum since my attempts to contact him so I am sure he has seen my tries.

What do you do in a case like this?

    Thanks

If I was having a really bad day I might give him some negative in Itrader, before I moved on.

I wouldn't start a thread about it. But that's just me.

Maybe somebody beat you to the punch and contacted him first. Or, maybe the seller did not like your offer, or got a better one.

if no money changed hands (loss of time doesn't count) you can't really do anything.

Yeah, if no real contact or agreement was made, just need to forget it and move on. You never know what goes on in PM 's. He probably sold whatever he had listed and went along his way to buy something new without posting the item had sold.

What the OP describes does not warrant a negative Itrader mark so it would be removed.

The common courtesy of responding is lost today on many individuals.

Put people who do this on your ignore list & move on.

Help me understand how you can feel empowered to give a negative itrader rating when no trading occurred?

They can't, if they try it gets removed.
