A question to Giraud case trimmer owners

when using the trimmer in the vertical position do you still get brass shavings in the case?

I use mine in horizontal position. After trimming I lightly tap them on work bench to knock out any shavings.

I've only trimmed a few thousand cases so far but, I haven't had a problem with it.

They can be saved for scrap. Though it takes a long time to get a decent amount.

I'm pretty sure there is no problem running the trimmer in the vertical position. Give Doug Giraurd a call or an email and he will be able to tell you for sure.

The bearings are sealed. I've trimmed well over 10,000 cases in the vertical position and mines still going strong. I've had it for 6 years or so.

i use mine in the horizontal position. blow the shaving out with an air duster.
