+1 on pressures and cartridge headspace...
OP, do you have a comparative headspace figure between say a fired M193 load and a FL size case?
You might want to try bumping the shoulders a bit less, minimum for reliable operation... I've been able to get away with about -.0015" to -.002" on my autoloader.ExtremeXComment

I don't have a comparative headspace figure for M193 and FL sized cases. I will have to check that!+1 on pressures and cartridge headspace...

Update: This weekend I took the original loads out to the range and fired them out of a clean chamber. All the cases ejected clean. The only thing that I can think of is that I was using a brass catcher when doing my testing originally. I also did some load development with CCI 41 primers also. I settled on a good load that gave me just under 3K FPS from a 20" barrel.
Going to switch over to CCI 41s and keep things on the safe side. Thanks to everyone who contributed to this thread.Last edited by 45R; 07-15-2014, 9:27 PM.Comment
