    Portable Single Stage Press

Thought I'd show off my portable press, which mounts with a C-Clamp. My primary set up is in my 93 year old mother's garage. But for sizing, depriming and flaring cases, I do that at my old farm table in the dining area at home. Best of all, my wife doesn't mind!

It works great, very secure, just with one clamp. Was inspired by this YouTube video.

Would be interested in seeing or hearing about your space saving set ups.

I have my Lee turret press mounted similar to yours. I makes it easy to move when necessary. I've also taken it with me a few times and I can mount it to a table or bench and be up and running in no time.

I have a lee single stage mounted on a 4x4. I use it to deprime and swage.
I just clamp it into my vise.

your wife doesn't mind, because that means your taking her to dinner. joking
Been gone too long. It's been 15 to 20 years since i had to shelf my guns. Those early years sucked.
I really miss the good old Pomona Gun Shows.

I have my single stage screwed in on a 2x4 and clamp on my computer desk when I feel like reloading a rounds.

I've done the same with many presses. But, if you want a truely portable press, get a Lee handpress.

Unfortunately I'm in an apartment with limited space and have to do the same thing. I would so love a garage with room to store gear instead of having to dig it out every time i want to reload.

I've got the same too. Used a small pre cut hardwood board from home depot. Have a powder measure on the right side of it; press on the left.

Easy to switch to cheap ikea lamp table in living room if I want to work there.

Kitchen table was a nice touch. My next picture would be me running for my life after I c clamped my press to our table.

I have a friend that uses a lee hand press. cranks out 9mm rounds on the fly.

he keeps all of his reloading stuff in one shoe box. I have 2 benches and 3 cabinets.

I keep all my stuff for reloading .380 in a small ammo can. Lee hand press, lee die set, digital scale, digital caliper, loading block, powder funnel, about 100 rounds of brass, 1000 primers, box of 500 bullets, the only thing not in the ammo can is powder. Make a nice mobile reloading setup.

+1 on the Lee hand tool. Same as the Lyman 310 Ideal. My grandpa kept that in his saddlebag.

I still like using the Lee hand press once in a while also.
