I have some TAC but I haven't started using it yet, my intent is also to use it for heavies in 223 (75gr).

I've had experience with progressive loading with ball powders using H335 and BL-C2 and cant see it being any different, those ball powders meter extremely well.

Give it a shot and let us know how it shoots.

What type of shooting will be done and at what range. If shooting for groups on paper ,look for groups to open up in warm weather at temps above 75degrees.Tac isnt a temp stable powder and the longer the distance involved the the larger the group...should have kept the varget!
      Keep it simple!

I had a thread last week about how awesome TAC is for metering. Its been fine for .223. I'm about to start some .308 loads. The idea of actually being able to do accurate ammo on the 650xl while in full on progressive mode makes me want to giggle and jump up and down.

            +1

I ladder loaded some TAC and 77gr SMKs and shot for groups on a +80 degrees day. I was getting 1"-2" groups and couldn't figure out why when TAC and 69gr SMKs would get me sub-MOA. I did some research and learned a valuable lesson. By the way, TAC flows like water. It's awesome!!!
