HS-7 is old discontinued powder. I do not know why they discontinued it. Maybe it didn't sell very well. Hodgdon/Winchester/IMR will be discontinuing a few other powdders that don't sell very well. I think PB, SR-4756, an SR-7625 are going bye-bye.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhh. Yes okay then. I have no interest in making loads with old powders. In fact, They can discontinue Leverevolution ANY DAY and I would be fine with that...

As stated by others, heavy payload 9mm, 45 ACP and shotgun. It's slower than HS6, so it's not quite as versatile. I have some very old manuals that list loads for HS7. If you need data, PM me with what calibers you want to load with HS7 and I will forward you whatever data I have.

HS7. Hmmm, I never heard of it. Is it the successor to HS-6?

HS-7 has been discontinued a long time ago. HS-7 is slow. Hodgdon lists it at #48 in their burn rate chart. I think it was the same as Winchester 571 which has also been discontinued.

I just looked in an old Speer reloading manual and they have some HS-7 9mm loads listed for 124 grain and 147 grain. They have some listed for 357 magnum 125, 140, and 158 grain bullets. They have some listed for 40S&W 155 and 180 grain bullets. 10mm 155, 180 and 200 grain bullets. There is also some listings for 41 and 44 magnum loads.

Yeah I got my info from divernhunter as well. My pound of hs7 is still factory sealed tho. I think I'm gonna use it for some 10mm loads.

No just many manuals and such. Both old and new. Been doing this a long time. That is where many of the old manuals come in.
If I need a quick load I have someone who does it for me.
