    Centerfire systems surplus ammo

Got some 1979 surplus 308 in today. Some of the bullets are loose in the neck of the case. Are these safe to shoot? Will it effect performance?

I see no issue whatsoever as long as you are a risk taker and are shooting a very inexpensive rifle. If the bullet gets pushed into the case when it is chambered, a very bad jam is the best case scenario.

          Please don't shoot that ammo.
