    Bought a new Trimmer!

Decided to treat myself and upgrade to a wooden grip. Looks classy if you ask me. All of my friends are totally jealous, and I just had to post a pic to make you guys jealous as well.

I am going to set the over/under on Stillys response at 1000 words. Any takers on the under?

In all seriousness, I'm curious how you like it. I use a WFT for 223 but I have to use that lee trimmer for 30 carbine.

I would stain the grip darker to match your loading block...... that thing would be like a mini pimp cane then.

Add a "Free Bumslie" sticker on the handle and it will be perfect!

Dude, I love the Lee trimmer for cutting down Luger brass for Makarov!

I had the all metal one initially but bought the wood when my fingers started to develop unsightly callouses. So uncivilized!

I couldn't use that trimmer without that handle.

                Nice furniture there.
Mine has a slightly different grain.
I'm thinking about some trench art to personalize it.

That's exactly what I use it for. Making makarov brass.

If you don't mind me asking, why on earth would you want to use a hand tool to shave that much brass (to make Makarov brass)? Doesn't your lathe trimmer make that job a lot easier? Or do you have it set up in a drill? Still gives me hand cramps just looking at it...

Normally use an electric drill with it. I have done it by hand when the battery dies on the drill. It does suck

Most people use the lee for 223 which doesn't require much trimming.

But the entire point of this thread is because it's a parody. I'm making fun of the people who post "I just bought a giraud!"

No one really cares it's the equivalent of people posting what guns they own on their signature, or people posting that they are drinking Starbucks or showing what ordinary food they are eating and sharing it on social media sites..

If he had painted it Blue to match another companies machine, and then happened to say that the idea came from a reloading manual other than "that which is always mentioned" - then I'd be with you on the over. Ha!

                          Nice!

Yes ... sanding and staining that grip would sure be nice.

Or ... maybe getting a miniature 8-ball grip would be good too. All you need to do is get one of those 8-ball shifter knobs

With this bling upgrade ... your wife will definitely think you are nuts!

I think my wife already thinks I am nuts ... from a long time ago ... Heh!

I remember when I just started out I did about 200 pieces if .223 with that setup. It was hell, I never wanted to reload again. Now-a-days I just use that setup to trim brass to specs so I cans set my CTS trimmer.
