    RCBS's ReloaderHub.com Shutting Down

    Got this today

Guess RCBS/ATK is cutting costs or it no longer fits into the marketing plan.

Not a lot of posts, but the normal regulars on there were informed and helpful folks.

ATK and Orbital Sciences are merging:

Expect them to jettison all of their non-defense related business groups.
    Tire kickers gonna kick,
    Nose pickers gonna pick
I and others know the real

      Are you a HUB member?

I am a regular there. I wonder if it will just dissipate or ... will it find a new life somewhere else?

I posted there rarely. Here's a thread I started some time ago. You even posted in it! It's sad anytime a good reloading/shooting resource goes away. I was surprised that the RCBS staff was not active that I could tell on the site to any degree. I would think buying forum software and then forgetting about basically is not a marketing plan.

I wonder what the future holds for the sporting group of ATK. They are a large and important group of companies in the industry. Hopefully, the Freedom Group will stay far, far away.

I'll watch and see what happens with everyone else I guess.

P.S. loved your LED Chrony thread over there. I will have to do it one day soon.

RCBS has some of the best customer service in the reloading industry. Hopefully their business practices and CS don't change.

Yeah, that's not going to happen. That's more of a strategic acquisition for ATK, who have a solid foothold in U.S. space launch. They were both planning on submitting new entrants for EELV missions, and ATK basically bought them out to eliminate some of the competition, and obtain the Antares launch vehicle after Liberty was passed over by NASA. Alliant isn't going anywhere...
