I'm getting everything needed to reload 10mm when I get my RIA Tactical in around 10 days and have 100 new Starline brass, large pistol primers and 2 pounds of Blue Dot on the way but I am having a hard time finding bullets to use.
I want to use around 10.5 gr of Blue Dot which alot of people seem to be using but the data for it is for TMJ/FMJ bullets which I can only find either for 20 some cents a bullet, or in packs of 1000 from Zero or Precision Delta which I don't want to get yet without testing some loads. I was wondering if anyone knew if the Heavy Plate Concave Base bullets from Xtreme are interchangeable with TMJ/FMJ bullets of the same grain. I already called them and they couldn't answer that for me but said to look at the Speer Manual which has data for Blue Dot and 180 gr TMJ FN at 10-11 gr of powder.
Is this safely doable?
