Or is 7.62 NOT .308? I ordered a bunch of .308 brass and almost half were 7.62. Brass thickness / pressure / load data aside, now I've got a bunch of primer pockets to ream.

Eh. If its for plinking I don't check. My loads are far enough under max to not worry about it.

If you're shooting match or trying to group well, then yeah I can see it being a difference.

Exactly.

I'll just plan on the 40 LC cases being my fouling shots, and I'll load Hornady FMJBT instead of SMK.
