I've been reloading .308 for a while, using all sorts of junk brass. I figured I would get some better brass and keep reloading that one alone for consistency purposes, so I bought a box of Lapua. Loading it the first time went well (made some good 1500 yard shots
).
Now, when I want to reload the brass the 2nd time around, all primer pockets are really tight. It's not easy at all to get the primer in. I never had this problem with the junk brass.
Why could this be happening? Would the RCBS primer pocket swager help?
