Hodgdon doesn't manufacture powder, they have it manufactured for them. Hodgdon, Winchester and IMR are brand names licensed by Hodgdon. Some of the powders are sold under more than one brand name, i.e. Winchester 296 and Hodgdon H-110 are the same powder. Winchester and Hodgdon ball powders are made by General Dynamics St. Marks Powder works. Look at the picture here http://www.gd-ots.com/commercial_powder.html and you will see that many commercial products are made by St. Marks under various brand names, including primers and ammunition. Another U.S. manufacturer is Alliant Techsystems (ATK), but that doesn't mean the powders are all made in the USA. St. Marks also has a Canadian subsidiary that manufacturers stuff such as IMR 4007 and IMR 4064.

Want to know what is what and where it is made you have to refer to the Material Safety Data Sheet of the product. Here is one from Hodgdon: http://www.imrpowder.com/PDF/MSDS%20...%20Powders.pdf Note that all designations have alternatives, i.e. H110 is also WC296, and H414 is WC760, etc. Here is the main MSDS index to Hodgdon products: http://www.imrpowder.com/msds.html

From the MSDS for Reloader 25: It's made by/for ATK at Bofors Explosives AB, Karlskoga, Sweden. Here's the Alliant Power Pro Series MSDS: http://www.alliantpowder.com/downloa...rProSeries.pdf to find the source of the various powders read the MSDS.

        Happy trails!
